RCN-001 · sole & eyelet detail
VULCANISED SOLE
Rubber compound vulcanised at 150°C for a permanent bond between upper and sole. Hexagonal tread pattern engineered for monsoon grip on tile, concrete, and broken curb. Zero slip. Maximum traction.
MEMORY FOAM INSOLE
15mm EVA base with a 4mm memory foam top layer. Compresses to your weight in the first week and holds the shape after. All-day comfort without the bulk of a chunky midsole.
PU UPPER
1.2mm polyurethane panels with a 3D spacer mesh tongue. Breathes through the worst Indian summers. Flexes at the toe break. Holds its shape through 12-hour days.
BRASS EYELETS
Solid brass hardware, not plated. Acid-green 120cm waxed flat laces threaded through six eyelets per side. The detail that lifts the silhouette from generic to signature.
FULL-GRAIN LEATHER LINING
Heel collar lined with vegetable-tanned Agra leather. Breaks in fast. Doesn't bleed dye. Ages into a patina that's yours alone.
STITCH-DOWN CONSTRUCTION
Upper stitched directly to the midsole rather than glued. Adds weeks of life to the shoe and makes resoling possible at our Agra workshop after the rubber wears.
